SAS Invites Supporters to Pray through Mobile APP

August 11, 2014

Peter Mihaere, Prayer, Resources

iPhoneSASPraymateScreenOne of the Guiding Principles of Stand Against Slavery (SAS) is … We pursue Justice from a Christian Worldview.

What that simply means is that we have chosen that particular worldview in which to look at the horror and injustice of Slavery and the Slave Trade in order to abolish it for all time.  It’s not an exclusive group and we invite anyone and everyone to join SAS to fight for a slave free world.  One of the things a person with a Christian Worldview is challenged to do is to speak to God, through the concept of prayer.  Most religious communities have some form of dialogue they engage in order to communicate to their leader, god or gods, and so the concept of prayer is not uncommon.

SAS believes prayer is a powerful tool to communicate our concerns and we have subscribed to a mobile APP called PrayerMate.  We will deliver daily prayer topics about slavery, those who are victims and survivors, organisations fighting slavery and specific SAS prayer points for you to consider.

Simply download the mobile App through the links below and then subscribe to our prayer feed.  Of course it’s a great App for your personal prayer requirements.  For more information on how to get the best out of the App please go to the authors website here.
